In the first place Audenge means the unique and superb landscape of the Domaine de Certes, surrounded by the waters of the Basin, where dikes, fishponds and humid pastures form a fantastic mosaic frequented by many kinds of birds.

But Audenge also has a yachting port and a nice oyster port, with the traditional background of chalked tiles, fishermen's cabins and pines that make it a pleasant place to visit .

And those who like to bath or laze on the beach have not been forgotten, as shows the beach near the end of the harbour, or the large sea water swimming pool, where everybody of all ages can safely enjoy themselves, without having to think about the hours of the tides.
